Each year, ten candidates compete for the coveted title, showcasing their grace, communication skills, and confidence. The panel selects a queen and two princesses to represent Blumenau Oktoberfest.

National Chope em Metro Competition
Calling all beer lovers! Put your chugging skills to the test at the electrifying “Chope em Metro” (meter beer chugging) competition. Participants race to down a meter-long glass of chopp (Brazilian draft beer) in the fastest time possible, all while adhering to the rules:
- No removing your mouth from the glass
- No spilling beer off the table
- No resting the glass on the ground
Each night crowns a champion, and the overall winner with the fastest time across all competition days is declared at the event’s conclusion. Men and women compete in separate categories, adding to the excitement.
